Workday Financials Specialist

Overview

BDO is building a high‑performing Workday Financials support team and seeks a driven, detail‑oriented Specialist who will become a true expert in Workday Financial Management.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain business process frameworks
• Maintain financial structures (Chart of Accounts, cost centers, locations, hierarchies, worktags, etc.)
• Support month‑end and year‑end close activities
• Troubleshoot functional and data issues
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and calculated fields
• Partner with Accounting and FP&A to improve reporting accuracy
• Support Workday bi‑annual releases (impact analysis, testing, documentation)
• Lead small enhancements and optimization initiatives
• Document configurations, workflows, and governance standards
