Workshop Quality Controller - Workshop/Tech exp.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To ensure the quality of work from the workshop by carrying out road tests on completed vehicles.

SUCCESS CRITERIA

• There are no comebacks.
• Job is done right the first time.
• Satisfied clients (SCSI).

RELATIONSHIPS AND PERSONAL ACTIVITIES

• Directly responsible to the Service Manager.
• Relationships with workshop foreman, after‑sales consultants, technicians, apprentices, and customers.

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS

• Assist service reception when a vehicle is to be tested with a customer before it enters the workshop and inspect new vehicles.
• Assist with small, waiting repairs and help resolve issues quickly.
• Ensure workshop always stays neat and tidy and control the workshop cleaners.
• Ensure wash bay operates efficiently and control wash bay staff.
