Opportunity Description
The Yard Manager is a hands‑on working role responsible for overseeing the operations of the boat repair facility along with the owner. The Yard Manager works alongside the Owner to oversee daily operations of the boat repair facility, managing a team of 5–8 employees. This role requires continuous visibility on work in progress, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is a working leadership role — not a desk‑based management position. The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time in the yard, on their feet, engaging directly with employees, equipment, and ongoing jobs.

- Plan and assign daily work for employees along with the owner
- Ensure staff understand priorities and job expectations
- Keep work on schedule and maintain productivity
- Address performance issues and keep the team on track
