About the role:
The Jr. Material Planner will be part of a focused, high caliber Supply Chain Management and will have to ensure that sufficient BOM and Non BOM Auxiliary materials are always available for smooth production continuity.What you will do:
Ensures material supply meets production requirement including safety stock target while optimizing cost.Manage ramp-ups and slow down to ensure no supply gap or excessive inventory.Plans, calculates raw materials requirement using S&OP and OPQR.Monitors stocks movement to ensure FIFO is followed.Supports cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.Continuously monitor non-conforming raw materials and take action to deplete, scrap and if possible, re-use it (concession).Manages inventory risk and ensures that contingency plans are in place.Ensures correctness of raw material Logistic view in SAP.Submits timely report s...
