About the role
Higher Options is looking for a
Junior Bookkeeper
to support the day-to-day bookkeeping operations of a growing accounting firm.
This role is ideal for someone with 1 to 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow. CPA certification is not required. What matters most is accuracy, reliability, and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
You will help keep financial records clean and up to date while working with tools like QuickBooks Online, Xero, Excel, and cloud-based systems.
Key responsibilities
Record and categorize financial transactions accurately.
Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
