The Role: Junior Buyer
What will you do?
Functional Expertise:
Procures materials to meet customer requirements at an optimal cost while and schedules supplier deliveries based on requirements.
Maintains lot sizes, period of supply, planning bill demand, lead time and minimum order quantities with suppliers.
Supports the phase-out/in of products to avoid obsolete inventory.
Obtains supplier quotations as required, notifies suppliers of engineering changes to drawings/specifications and provides suppliers with forecast and open order information.
Ensures that all released Purchase Orders are sent to suppliers and are confirmed following the required turn-around time.
Resolves invoice issues, coordinates with Procurement Manager/Counterparts on the reasons of the discrepancy, adjusts system information when necessary.
