- Construction estimating on commercial projects at a General contracting/CM firm Establish estimates for projects, including labor, supplies, materials and other ancillary costs Ability to work as a team member and manage all trades and personalities to the benefit of the project. Communicate clearly and effectively with project management and clients. Client Details Mid-Size Retail/Commercial general contractor looking for an immediate full-time Assistant Estimator to estimate and prepare proposals for projects ranging from 200k to 15 Mil. Position requires candidate to have knowledge of all trades, read and understand blueprints, be able to multi task, create appropriate sub lists, attend site visits, create and distribute plans to subs, assist in sourcing materials and appropriate subcontractors, review/analyze/qualify bids from subcontractors for accuracy, knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Excel and Procore software, and other duties as required.
