30 hours per week. Tuesday-Friday, Wednesday- Saturday on a rotational basis. Hours of work will cover 6.00am - 2.00pm and 10.00am - 6.00pm.
Purpose of the post:
Support the water microbiology department.
Preparation of media (agars etc.) to be used in microbiological analysisSample preparation in line with company protocolsMicrobiological analysis of water samples in line with company protocolsTraining and operation of relevant equipmentGeneral housekeeping of laboratory and prevention of cross contaminationAccurate Data entry into laboratory databaseAccurate record-keeping associated with UKAS quality systemEffective communication with all employeesReport any anomalous results or situations to Laboratory SupervisorHealth and Safety procedures are adhered to withi...
