Junior Mechanical Engineer

At altM, we are building next-generation process plants that transform biomass feedstocks into high-value chemicals. As a Sr Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and executing mechanical systems that form the backbone of our process facilities. This role spans the entire project lifecycle - from engineering design and vendor management to fabrication, construction, commissioning, and startup. We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable reviewing pressure vessel calculations, solving site installation challenges, coordinating with fabricators, and supporting chemical plant commissioning teams during plant startup. The ideal candidate combines strong mechanical engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience in EPC execution in chemicals and O&G sectors, modular process plant design, and field problem-solving.
