Junior Research Fellow (Mechanical Engineering)

KCIRI, Kumaraguru College of Technology‘s Research & Innovation Centre, is seeking a dedicated Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Mechanical Engineering to work on a Defence Technology development project.

The JRF will be responsible for developing and implementing mechanical systems essential for the defence applications.

Job Role

To lead the mechanical design, structural analysis, and dynamic simulation of the system, ensuring it withstands operational loads, impact forces, and thermal stresses while meeting reliability and safety requirements.

Major Responsibilities

• Lead the design and structural analysis of the system to ensure mechanical integrity and durability.

• Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate structural strength and stress distribution under operational conditions.

• Perform Multi Body Dynamic (MBD) Simulations to analyse motion characteristics and behaviour of the system.
