Junior Field Service Engineer (Level 1)
Apprentices or Junior Engineers welcome
Location: Cambridgeshire & surrounding areas (candidates ideally based in Herts, North East Essex or Cambridgeshire)
Travel: Regional role with UK-wide travel and occasional overnight stays
Salary: £28,350 + full benefits package
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified apprentice from any technical trade (electrical, mechanical, automotive, plumbing, HVAC, etc.) to step into a field-based engineering role, working on medical and care equipment including:
Profiling beds
Air pressure mattresses (APMs)
Assisted baths
Hoists
Scales and plinthsAs a Level 1 Field Service Engineer, you'll focus on planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), installations, and basic repairs, supporting more experienced engineers with complex diagnostics.
