Band 6 Junior Sister / Junior Charge Nurse Cancer 
Inpatient Wards (Haematology / Oncology 5C/ 5D), Bart’s Cancer Centre 

The post holder will support the ward manager in developing the team of 
registered nurses, nursing associates, health care support workers and student nurses in delivering safe effective care to patients within the inpatient ward area working in collaboration with the medical and wider MDT teams, ensuring a highquality service to patients. The post holder will support the education and 
development of junior staff and learners within the clinical environment and participate in audits, appraisals always ensuring safety of the unit and deputise for the ward manager as and when necessary. The candidate will be proficient in administering chemotherapy and ideally with stem cell reinfusion if relevant to the 
clinical area
