Luxury department store Harvey Nichols is seeking an exceptional Junior Sous Chef to join Brasserie in The OXO Tower, Southbank. As the new Junior Sous Chef, you will work 40 hours a week in our OXO Tower restaurant.
About the role…
As a Junior Sous Chef, you will be helping prepare food for our customers and make their eating experience with us a memorable 5* experience. You will:
- Support the Head Chef with menu planning and daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare, cook and present dishes to a high standard, following authorised recipes.
- Ensure all menu items and mise en place are ready for service at the correct times.
- Run kitchen sections independently when required.
- Follow stock control, stocktaking and costing procedures.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and cleanliness in line with Health & Safety regulations.
- Care for kitchen equipment and report any needs for repair or replacement. ...
