Te Whatu Stardome Observatory and Planetarium Auckland

Full time, Permanent

This role is responsible for delivering engaging learning programmes for a wide range of audiences. Most visiting groups are primary and secondary schools, but we also work with ECE, adult learners, and community groups. Programmes combine classroom learning, hands‑on activities such as rocket launches, and planetarium show presentations.

It is an exciting time for learning at Stardome. Our education team is developing new experiential programmes to support schools through upcoming curriculum change, using our brand‑new classroom, fully bilingual museum galleries, and planetarium — the largest in Aotearoa New Zealand.
