Kaiāwhina pāho - Content Assistant

Manawatū People’s Radio (MPR) is looking for a Kaiāwhina pāho (Content Assistant) to join our small, creative team supporting Community Access Media across the region.

This is a hands‑on, development‑focused role ideal for someone looking to grow their skills in media, communications, or storytelling. If you’re curious, creative, and keen to learn, we’ll support you to build practical experience across radio, podcasting, and digital platforms.

About the role

Working under the guidance of Kaituitui kaupapa pāho (Content Coordinator), you’ll support the creation and sharing of audio and visual content across MPR’s platforms. You’ll collaborate with staff and volunteer Content Creators, building your skills while helping bring diverse community voices to air.
