Opportunity Description
We are currently looking for a talented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Llanidloes to Assist the Canteen Manager to undertake all tasks within the canteen to ensure a high-quality service to all staff across the site.
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 06:00am 14:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Deputise for the Manager in their absence. Accept responsibility and be accountable for day-to-day activities.
- Ordering of stock including raising/receipting POs on SAP (covering Manager holidays/absence)
- Continuously review menus
- Preparing and cooking of food
- Assist onsite events such as summer BBQ and staff Christmas dinner
- Participate in on site engagement activities i.e. Free Breakfast Fridays / charity fundraising
- Assist stock taking and product rotation
- Serving of food and beverages
- Collect monies and operate cash till
