Kitchen Cook (Hiring Immediately)

Become part of the Genova family! Genova Delicatessen is a family run Italian delicatessen with a menu of traditional family recipes, fresh bread made daily, cheeses, meats, hot and cold sandwiches, entrees, salads, soups and pastries.
We are looking for an experienced full-time cook familiar with Italian cooking to prepare deli ingredients and meals from our menu.
Responsibilities:
• Prep work (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.)
• Prepare full meals using various methods of cooking
• Follow previously developed recipes
• Bake bread and pastries
• Keep a sanitized and orderly kitchen
• Ensure proper food storage
• Check quality and stock of ingredients
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a cook (familiarity with Italian cooking a plus but not required)
• Knife skills and other utensil wielding
