Kitchen Equipment Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect and test household appliances (ovens, fridges, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, etc.).
• Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of appliances.
• Respond to service calls and troubleshoot issues on‑site or in the workshop.
• Replace defective parts such as motors, compressors, thermostats and wiring.
• Ensure all installations and repairs comply with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain accurate service records and reports.
• Provide basic usage guidance and maintenance tips to customers.
• Manage tools, equipment and spare parts inventory.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Appliance Repair Technology.
• Proven experience as an appliance technician or similar role.
