Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including meal planning, food preparation, and service.
- Ensure all food is prepared, stored, and served in strict compliance with hygiene and safety regulations (FSSAI, local health codes).
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, including cooks, helpers, and assistants, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage procurement of ingredients, and minimize food waste through effective planning.
- Develop and implement balanced, age-appropriate meal plans that meet nutritional guidelines for children.
- Conduct regular checks on equipment maintenance and cleanliness of kitchen areas
- Collaborate with school administration and nutritionists to address dietary needs, allergies, and special meal requirements.
