KS1 Teacher - Maternity Cover

Call all KS1 Teachers - Simply Education are working with a lovely Primary school in Boston who are looking to recruit a Y2 Teacher to cover a maternity leave. This position will start in September and will run for a 'significant' part of the upcoming academic year.

The Y2 Teacher will be responsible for planning and marking engaging sessions and will also receive the support of the other KS1 Teachers in doing so. PPA time will also be built in to the teaching timetable.

The Y2 Teacher will need to have the following;

- A sound knowledge of the Y2 curriculum

- Excellent Classroom Management skills

- The ability to work in a team as cross class planning is involved

- Be able to built up positive relationships with learners and their guardians

- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for teaching
