Job SummaryThe Lab Associate II supports essential laboratory operations by performing high-volume, fast-paced tasks that ensure accurate and timely processing of samples.Responsibilities include receiving and checking in couriers, unbagging and barcoding specimens, transporting samples throughout the lab, loading them into analyzers, preparing them for testing, and retrieving stored samples as needed. This role requires comfort working with various biological specimens and maintaining strict adherence to laboratory safety and operational procedures. The position may include overnight work based on business needs.Key Responsibilities

Receive and check in couriers and incoming samples.

Unbag, bar code, and organize samples for processing.

Transport (“run”) samples throughout different areas of the lab.

Load samples into analyzers and prepare them for testing.

Place samples into centrifuges and operate related equipment.
