**A Brief Overview**
The SBC Laboratory Technician I receives, manufactures, prepares, labels, packs and ships blood components to SBC customers; performing a variety of clerical duties and participating in training and ad-hoc projects as directed.

**What you will do**

+ Receive, triage, centrifuge, separate, and leukoreduce (where applicable) whole blood, and apheresis products, entering all results in the relevant electronic software system.
+ Manufacture transfusable blood by-products, including (but not limited to) cryoprecipitate, red blood cells, plasma, platelets, buffy coats, LRS chambers, tubes, etc.
