Opportunity Description
Our client, a Clinical Laboratory company, is looking for a Lab technician I for their Calabasas Hills, CA location. Responsibilities:
+ The primary functions are to perform technical activities in the laboratory related to tests on human specimens and to record laboratory data while working under the technical oversight of a California-licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
+ Assists in specimen testing under direct and constant supervision according to established procedures, working under the technical oversight of a Clinical Laboratory Scientist and in compliance with CA regulatory restrictions.
+ Uses automated and/or digital devices such as timers or thermometers in performing tasks.
+ Records dates of receipt, in use, and expiration for all reagents, kits, controls, and standards used for assigned assays.
+ Ensures material used is not expired prior to use.
+ Pipettes using pre-set devices, calibrated and approved...
