Opportunity Description
Position: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Location:
Houston, Texas
Type:Permanent & Full-Time
Schedule:Nights, added shift differential
Requirements:
- Active RN Texas License or active multi-state compact RN license without stipulations or disciplinary actions
- BSN
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an acute care setting
- At least 1-1.5 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Principal Accountabilities:
- Deliver safe and appropriate care to patients based on nursing skills and patient needs
- Coordinate nursing care planning with interdisciplinary team, make clinical decisions, and collaborate with healthcare team
- Coordinate treatment plans, develop/implement discharge and transfer plans
- Participate in program evaluation, process improvement, and client-centered outcomes
