Overview
Works under the supervision of the Nurse Manager of Float Pool. Coordinates and assists the nurse managers, directors, supervisors, charge nurses and practice managers with staffing using critical thinking skills and effective communication that maintains a patient focused environment of excellence. Works closely with all departments and offices to maintain various staffing information and reports. Supports the educational needs of new team members in the department.
What you will do
Demonstrates outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to be flexible with last minute changes and fair when managing the needs of individual team members using a positive, helpful tone of voice. Communicates effectively with unit managers, charge nurses and office managers regarding scheduling and potential changes. Receives daily staff requests from multiple facilities and fill them based on highest need efficiently....
