Laboratory Embryologist

Overview
Under general direction of the Laboratory Supervisor or Director, the Embryologist III performs advanced technical clinical and research duties independently in the embryology laboratory. The role includes daily oversight and training of embryologists, focusing on ensuring quality outcomes and an excellent patient experience.
Hours
Wednesday - Sunday 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with occasional Monday if required.
Essential Responsibilities
Conducts the full range of basic and advanced Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) laboratory procedures.
Conducts serum/media preparation with accuracy and impeccable attention to detail.
Conducts sperm preparation for ICSI and for conventional insemination.
Performs egg retrievals and cumulus cell removal.
Performs both conventional and ICSI inseminations, meeting established percentage goals for fertilization.
Completes fertilization checks for conventional insemination and ICSI.
