**Job Description**

The Comprehensive Center for Surgical Innovation (CCSI) is an initiative of the Mount Sinai BioDesign Institute at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. The BioDesign Institute is dedicated to developing cutting-edge medical technologies for surgery and other clinical areas through direct collaboration with physicians and surgeons. Working at the intersection of engineering, medicine, and entrepreneurship, the CCSI accelerates the design, testing, and commercialization of next-generation devices and instrumentation to improve patient outcomes **.**

**Qualifications**

+ Bachelor's degree in medical technology, chemistry, biology or a closely related field. Master's degree preferred
+ Minimum five years experience as laboratory with two years supervisory experience involving supervision of professional laboratory personnel.
