The School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering is seeking a Laboratory Manager to manage the operations and activities of the Computer Aided Design laboratories. The candidate would be responsible for providing efficient management, technical and administrative support for all laboratory teachings and research activities and to oversee the safety standards in the laboratory in compliance to ISO 45001 standard. Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage and oversee the operation of the Computer Aided Engineering laboratories and Biological Machine Lab in supporting the teaching and research activities.
Manage and allocate manpower resources within the laboratories to meet operational needs.
Budgetary planning for the laboratories and ensure procurement operations comply with the University’s financial policies, guidelines, and procedures.
Laboratory asset management and maintaining proper records for inventory auditing.
