Laboratory Technician

The Lab Technician is responsible for the smooth functioning, maintenance, and administration of the Computer Science Laboratory. The role involves managing computer systems, networking equipment, software installations, troubleshooting technical issues, supporting faculty and students during practical sessions, and ensuring the laboratory remains operational, secure, and compliant with institutional standards.

• Maintain and monitor computer laboratories, servers, networking devices, and peripheral equipment
• nt.Ensure all systems are functional and ready for practical classes and examinations
• Maintain laboratory inventory, asset records, and stock register
• Coordinate procurement and replacement of hardware, software, and consumables
