Laboratory Technician- Stem Cells and Islet Bioengineering Laboratory

Job Summary:
The Department of Medicine is looking for a Laboratory Technician in Human Pluripotent Stem cells and Islet Differentiation Research in the Dadheech Stem Cell and Islet Bioengineering lab. Diabetes is a global health problem worldwide with a huge economic burden. the use of stem cell-derived islets (SC-Islets) has shown promise, scaling-up manufacturing capacity will be pivotal to SC-Islet cell survival, maturation, and function. Optimized methods from our group have demonstrated the potential of scalable suspension bioreactor technologies to enable mass production of autologous (patient-derived) stem cell-derived islets in 3D suspension.
