Laboratory Technician/Technologist (TPU)

Job Purpose The candidates will focus on product quality testing including but not limited to sample preparation, machine operation, trials and tests on Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) in accordance with stipulated guidance. Conduct technical activities such as conduct test/analysis and/or generate report based on customer's complaints, troubleshooting and so forth.
Job Responsibilities Perform routine tests/analysis on mechanical properties (e.g. tensile, hardness, abrasion, MVR, density, impact etc.), product extrusion quality, analysis (e.g FTIR, DSC etc) and so forth. Prepare test specimen by injection and/or extrusion. Maintain systematic documentation practice in compliance with ISO requirements. Ensure accurate and timely update of analysis reports and other documents. Develop work instructions and standard operating procedure and ensure strictly compliance with ISO requirements.
