Laborer Grade 7 Supervisor- Jeff Smith Solid Waste Superintendent
Salary: $32,302.40 ($15.53 an hr) - $34,881.60 ($16.77 hr)
PURPOSE OF CLASSIFICATION
The purpose of this classification is to perform unskilled and manual work functions associated with construction, maintenance and repair of county facilities, buildings, equipment and grounds.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to completion of the seventh grade and some experience in performance of heavy manual work.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
+ Trims hedges, mows grassy areas, and blows leaves and grass from walkways; plants and prunes shrubbery; picks up trash and debris in parking lots.
+ Cuts trees, hauls wood and stumps.
