CNC Lathe Machinist
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to set up, program, and operate CNC lathes to produce precision turned components to specification. The ideal candidate will ensure parts meet quality and tolerance requirements, maintain machine performance, and collaborate with production and engineering to meet delivery schedules. This role focuses on safe, efficient machining practices and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, load, and operate CNC lathe machines to produce parts according to engineering drawings and work orders.
- Run CNC lathe programs and make necessary adjustments to feeds, speeds, and tooling to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Perform first-article inspections and in-process quality checks using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measurement tools.
