ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
:
Receives soiled linens from laundry chutes and laundry carts. Sort, Wash, Dry, Fold dirty linen and terry and properly store clean linen. (Requires loading and unloading heavy, wet laundry to and from Washer and dryers. Coordinate and distribute all cleaned linen and terry for housekeeping and F/B staff (as applicable) Operate Laundry Equipment- Washer, Dryer, Flat Iron, Iron and Board (as needed per guest request Stock all cleaned linen and terry in appropriate areas Keep updated daily inventories of linen and terry to meet needs of hotel departments. Replenish laundry supplies from storage as directed. Keep all areas of department clean and organized which may include, sweeping and mopping of floors in Laundry area.
