About the Role

We are looking for a lawyer to join our Legal Services team. The person will be based in the office of his or her choice in the Saguenay‑Lac‑St‑Jean region.

Responsibilities

• Carry out various mandates related to the profession of notary or lawyer
• Review certain types of annual resolutions
• Draft legal documents and opinions
• Conduct doctrinal and jurisprudential research
• Participate in the training of paralegals
• Analyze and be aware of the budgetary limits of a case
• Participate in departmental meetings and present topics of interest
• Develop technical knowledge
• Analyze work in progress and accounts receivable, where appropriate
• Meet with customers as required
• Prepare service offers and customer invoices

• Bachelor's degree in law
