The candidate will handle a variety of legal matters for nonprofit organizations, including entity formation, corporate governance, tax-exemption issues, and compliance with fundraising and political activities regulations.

Duties

Advise on entity formation and corporate governance for nonprofit organizations.

Manage federal and state tax-exemption matters.

Ensure compliance with fundraising and political activities regulations.

Draft and review contracts and general business law documents.

Requirements

Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.

Admitted to and in good standing with the NY bar .

Three to five years of relevant legal experience.
