Summary The Lead Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Interventional Radiology (IR) serves as the lead technologist for the IR section and is responsible for coordinating day-to-day technical and workflow activities within the assigned area. Responsibilities The Lead Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (IR) works closely with technologists, radiologists, nursing staff, clinicians, clerical staff, Biomedical Engineering, Logistics, and service leadership to promote efficient operations, high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic imaging, patient safety, and patient satisfaction. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Functions as the lead technologist for a group of Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists and related staff assigned to the Interventional Radiology section.
