Job overview

This is a role under the leadership of the Head of Nursing for Workforce & Education. The remit for this role is to support excellence in recruitment and retention practice for nursing and midwifery across the organisation. To support key recruitment priorities the post holder will work collaboratively with the HR Resourcing Team to ensure proactive and innovative recruitment. The postholder will lead standardisation of recruitment practice for all nursing posts and act as a resource for all nursing and midwifery recruitment. A key element for the role is the retention of nursing staff, enabling them to recognise their individual value to the organisation and feel proud of the care they are enabled to provide whilst also being supported with their career aspirations through education, practice and experiential learning opportunities, which are fair and equal to all.
