Lead Geotechnical Engineer / Project Manager

WSP is seeking a **Lead Geotechnical Engineer / Project Manager** to join our team in **Charlotte, NC** . The candidate will be involved in projects with our Geotechnical Engineering Team as part of WSP’s Earth & Environment Group. The expectation for this full-time role is that the candidate will work in the office either fully in-person or on a hybrid in-person and remote schedule.

This position will include opportunities to provide geotechnical engineering guidance and leadership for investigation, design, improvement, and construction of infrastructure projects and systems in the public and private sector. Tasks include contributing to a variety of projects such as foundations, soil & rock slopes, and retaining walls related to transportation (bridge and highway), pipelines, dams, buildings, and private development projects.
