Lead Grants Management Specialist

Summary You will serves as a Team Leader providing technical expertise, team building, and guidance to one or more designated Agricultural Marketing Service grant program(s) and/or cross-functional team(s) as applicable to the Grants Division. AMS employees may maintain current duty station UNLESS it is in the National Capital Region. Responsibilities The duties may include, but are not limited to: Distributing and balancing workload among Grants Program team members. Reporting to supervisor on performance, progress, and training needs of team members, as well as any conduct problems. Providing leadership on grants/assistance assignments, projects, problems, and deadlines; assessing work to ensure reasonable product quality. Providing training, technical assistance, oversight, ethics advice, expertise, and consultation to program officials, customers, review panels, applicants, recipients, and sub recipients, as needed.
