Lead Machine Operator - 2nd Shift (M-F 3pm-11pm)

**Description**

**_This opening is for 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 3pm-11pm_**
**_Shift Differential: $1.10 for working 2nd shift_**

+ Performs safety inspections as required to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment, corrects deficiencies or enters maintenance requests.
+ Practice and encourage safe behaviors and ensure that all safety procedures are followed.
+ Perform safety, quality and productivity standard work as assigned.
+ Verify/conduct required quality checks of the machines throughout the department.
+ Assist supervisor daily with staffing, rework, safety incident investigations, and other pertinent projects or issues for the shift.
+ Work directly with the Training Team in training of new employees.
+ Use positive communication skills to promote teamwork and a team atmosphere.
+ Ensure housekeeping is a priority for Packers and Operators – make assignments to Operators and crews as necessary to maintain 5S Standards.
