Job Description
This is a highly specialized Lead RN role focused on therapeutic apheresis and advanced cell-based procedures supporting both hospital patients and cutting-edge biologic therapies. You’ll work at the intersection of patient care, blood science, and emerging treatments like immunotherapy and CAR-T.
Vitalant supports both blood collection and advanced biologics. Blood donations such as whole blood, plasma, platelets, and specialty cells are collected and then tested before being released to hospital partners or sent to specialty labs. On the biologics and research side, teams are actively supporting immunotherapy and cell-based treatments for cancer and other serious conditions.
In this role, you will primarily support therapeutic apheresis procedures where blood is removed, separated using a centrifuge, treated, and returned to the patient. These procedures help patients with sickle cell disease, autoimmune disorders, clotting issues, and those undergoing chemot...
