LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT VACANCY
THE FEDERATION ABBEY INFANT AND JUNIOR SCHOOL
The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistant Level 2 to join our committed and dedicated team. The successful candidate will work across the school predominantly with children with SEND. They will provide additional support during lessons as well as at lunchtimes.
Responsibilities
- Provide additional support during lessons as well as at lunchtimes, primarily for children with SEND.
- Be proactive, show initiative and have a firm but fair approach with a focus on the welfare and safety of the children at all times.
- Support intimate care needs / toileting as required.
- Provide a high level of support for a range of children, including high-need pupils on a 1:1 basis, and contribute to making a difference to the children supported.
