Opportunity Description
Main Purpose of Position
To enable learners, through guidance and support, to achieve their aspirations and academic goals by supporting classroom learning and working collaboratively with teaching colleagues. To deliver effective teaching and learning strategies and to support the development of independent learning skills. To evidence progression against targets set in negotiation with the learner and teaching colleagues to meet learning needs. To contribute to EHCP Annual Reviews (where applicable) to ensure that progression towards educational outcomes is being addressed.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver engaging and creative learning to meet the needs of the learner, including those with barriers to learning. This could be a blend of remote, classroom, 121 or on site.
- Deliver learning and evidence progression to meet the targets set for the learner to enable them to meet or exceed their goals.
