To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience: **Essential criteria** 1. PhD in Linguistics, Language Education or a closely related subject.
2. Outstanding teaching ability. 3. Expertise in Language Education and Sociolinguistics.
4. Ability and willingness to make a broad contribution to teaching and supervision beyond specialist area.
5. Strong communication skills with excellent written and spoken English
6. Experience of teaching in UK Higher Education
7. Experience of teaching in the areas of Linguistics and Education
8. Experience teaching Qualitative Research Methods **Desirable criteria** 1. Experience teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) 2.
