CORE PURPOSE OF JOB

The core purpose of the Lecturer is to create, develop, facilitate and administer the acquisition of knowledge and skills by students through appropriate learner and teaching processes in order that they are able to function.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Make a significant contribution to the learning and teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate students in the Department of Building and Human Settlement Development.
• Participate in and contribute to publishing of research and innovation.
• Participate in undergraduate projects and postgraduate student supervision.
• Perform academic, community and discipline engagements.
• Contribute to quality of the programmes, programme and accreditation reviews.
