Legal Counsel

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Legal Team in Montreal. You will partner and collaborate daily with our business teams, preparing and negotiating commercial agreements and helping the business navigate intricate and unprecedented challenges inherent in a rapidly evolving tech company.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts with customers, strategic partners, and vendors/suppliers across NOAM, EMEA and APAC.
• Delivering legal and general commercial advice to key stakeholders across all Lightspeed departments.
• Documenting legal know‑how and delivering training to the wider Legal Team and business stakeholders.
• Identifying and advising on legal risks and compliance issues relating to the structuring, development and marketing of new products or features.
