Leisure Group Sales Manager

Renaissance New York Chelsea, a Marriott Hotel, is looking for a dynamic, energetic and charismatic Leisure Group Sales Manager.

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Leisure Groups Sales Manager's primary responsibility is to increase hotel revenues by meeting with 3rd party planners, trade associations, individuals & S.M.E.R.F. markets (Social, Military, Educational, Religious, Fraternal) in order to promote the hotel and secure additional sales.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Prospect new clients on a weekly basis
• Prospect current clients on a weekly basis
• Make sales calls in-person, on the phone, through email & social media
• Search for & develop potential markets for the hotel
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times.
