General Summary :
The Lactose Packaging Group Leader is responsible for the Lactose powder bagging process for the Whey Department. This is a working Group Lead position that will perform packaging operator duties in addition to the Group Lead responsibilities.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
+ Manage break schedule for packaging operators.
+ Ensure assignment & completion of daily tasks; Identify, delegate and manage priorities.
+ Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedule, including but not limited to fillers, sealers and palletizer.
+ Notify maintenance (submit work requests) as needed regarding mechanical issues. Follow through to completion with the mechanic or supervisor as needed.
