We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Library Assistant to join our team in Khanpur. As a Library Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the librarian in managing the day-to-day operations of the library.
Responsibilities
- Assist patrons with locating materials and answering general inquiries.
- Issue and return books, magazines and other materials using our automated system.
- Organize and shelve returned materials according to the library's classification system.
- Assist with cataloging new materials and maintaining accurate records of inventory.
- Maintain a neat and orderly library environment by organizing shelves, tables and study areas.
- Process interlibrary loan requests from other libraries.
- Provide basic computer assistance to patrons when needed.
